Nozzle check valve with spring return, for drinking water and other neutral liquids free of solids and fibrous impurities to 80°C
The AVK spring loaded nozzle check valve is a reliable, low-loss, fast reacting reverse flow blocker for use in water pipes. In case of pump stop the spring loaded valve cone will make sure the water flow is shut off swiftly and quietly before it can change direction and cause water hammer. Features
- Spring loaded valve cone makes sure the valve closes before the flow can reverse and cause water hammer
- An optimized flow path keeps head loss down to a minimum
- Stem and spring in high grade SS-316, diffuser in SS-CF8M (ductile iron on DN250+), disc in SS-CF8M, bushing in high strength alu-bronze
- Stainless steel, grade A4 (316) fasteners
- All irons parts coated with 250µm blue RAL 5017 fusion bonded epoxy (FBE)
- Centering stem running in high strength alu-bronze bushings
- Approved for drinking water according to Decreto Ministeriale nr. 174 - Ministero della Salute
- For both horizontal and vertical installation
