About AVK
AVK is well renowned worldwide for the high quality of its valves and hydrants. It contributes to sustainable solutions for global challenges in the areas of clean drinking water provision, water loss reduction, wastewater collection and treatment, gas and biogas distribution, efficient irrigation and fire protection. AVK International A/S offers a vast range of products to the markets in our geographical region covering Continental Europe, Central Asian and Caucasian countries and North Africa.
We’re specialised in the production of gate valves, double eccentric butterfly valves, control valves, ball check valves, bypass valves, Supa Maxi™ couplings, operating rods and particular types of hydrants and accessories. We use rubber compounds that come from our AVK GUMMI A/S rubber factory and which meet the best standards of excellence. It is vital that the rubber within the products is of the highest quality to ensure a secure, leak-proof and trouble-free seal during normal use. Our products are sourced from over 20 AVK factories in Europe and AVK factories around the world, allowing us to offer a wide selection of high-quality valves, hydrants and accessories.
Based on LEAN principles, we have optimized work processes and goods flow to ensure the fastest possible delivery times. We store a large selection of the product range in our 13,000m2 warehouse in Denmark and our management system allows us to optimize inventory and handling. Overall, this allows us to offer a great delivery service.
We are certified according to the ISO 9001 standard for quality management and ISO 29001, the industry-specific standard for the oil and gas industry. Furthermore, we are certified according to the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management, the ISO 50001 standard for energy management and the ISO 45001 standard for occupational health and safety.
Our customers are supported by local AVK sales companies or our carefully selected distributors, who are committed to meeting their customers' needs. We are therefore able to offer tailor-made solutions that match local specifications.
We have more than 4,800 employees spread across more than 100 companies around the world. In the financial year 2021/2022 we recorded a turnover of 1,020 million euros.
